Dry hopping is much easier
I bought this to start dry hopping and make more IPAs. It's definitely big enough to hold enough hops, at least 3 ounces. Note that hop pellets will swell. The pipe sank down and did not rise up. The only reason for the five stars is that I took out some leftover pellets from the top cap, big holes. Making the entire batch cloudy isn't enough, but if you don't want your beer to have floats, let the beer sit for a while after dry hopping so the floats touch the bottom before racking the keg or bottle .
