Review on Reliable Water Temperature Sensor - URO Parts 9125463 by Rushabh Gonsales

My sensor failed and at the time I didn't have $50 for the 'original' sensor for my Volvo. After purchasing it I was impressed as it looks exactly like the 'original', this lasted exactly a week, suddenly my temp went crazy and the sensor problems started again (like the bad one). Called Revain and got replacement (good service and fast), changed sensor and all was good for another week. I ended up buying the sensor from a Volvo dealership (online) for $50 and fixed the problem. It's been 2 years and the "original" sensor is still working fine. This URO is really cheap (price is $10) and is a good 'temporary' option when you may need 1-2 weeks to get the money together for an 'original' Volvo sensor. The cable and the place where it connects to the plastic connector is very fragile, the 1st sensor broke or came loose after a week and the 2nd sensor stopped working after a week (same symptoms), my temperature is severe dropped (my card is getting faster by itself) or overheating (does not start), but in fact there was not just one sensor. 2 stars because it helps me save money on an "genuine" Volvo sensor.
