Amazing Very Good

This rating is based on my first impressions. Will update after I've used it with different media. I got a message that I won the line but the url doesn't work maybe they're sold out but I'll email them. In any case. I LOVE the darker tan they used. It is darker than Strathmore Toned Tan (STT). The STT weighs around 80 pounds while Nil Tech weighs 107 pounds so I can't wait to check it out. I also like that there are very few (almost no) fiber inclusions in the paper. STT has fiber inclusions, which is fine if that's what you look like, but I prefer nothing, and this sketchbook does a great job. Looks very smooth. Also, he has 70 sheets of paper while STT has 50. Oh! As they showed in their product image, this sketchbook is true sized and micro-perforated. So when you rip the sheet out, the paper dimensions will still be 9x12. It annoys me when sketchbooks don't correspond to reality. Again, I really like the shade of tan they used. Darker than STT but lighter than Borden/Riley Kraft. After use I will add art. But so far it seems to be very good.
