Review on ACDelco D1815A Original Equipment Indicator by Johnny Wheat

Precise OEM switch that turns the boost pump on and off for my 1999 Savana diesel van. This switch differs from the ob1 units in that it only has a wired output that controls the relay that GM installed in 1996 + the vans that use the ob2. This is a slightly different design created just for vans. Older pre-'95 vans didn't have relays and ran full amps and 12 volts through them. them to start the booster pump. Needless to say, they didn't last long and GM examined them and added a relay to take the load off the switch. I replaced mine because the plastic was brittle and I don't want to have any problems at 467,000km. It was a lot cheaper than my dealer here in Canada and I am happy with the product.
