Review on 🔩 Metal Double-Cap Rivet Tool - Dritz 750T by Jennifer Roberts

I ordered this tool to punch holes and glue rivets onto leather like others do. When I opened the package I was surprised to find that the stamp was not sharpened. I tried to punch a hole in a very thin leather strap with it and it just made a dent. The packaging was also dirty and warped and looked like it had been opened before. I couldn't use the rivet setting tool because I don't have a working hole punch that I can use to drill holes and install rivets. I did notice, however, that the top of the rivet die wasn't entirely flat, as if whoever was sanding it wasn't using a jig. Overall disappointing with a supposedly very basic tool kit.
