I'm not sure there can be too many casserole dishes in the kitchen just like there can't be too many measuring spoons. So when Revain offered me this set of four baking pans, I was happy to say yes. Overall - I like them, with a few minor quibbles. One of their advantages is that they are physically heavy. If you're roasting chicken (like I just did in the largest skillet), you already have enough weight to put the dish in the oven. This brings more weight. It also affects where I keep them in the kitchen as the combined package is too big for me to put on a shelf above the ceiling. However, this weight is positive to ensure the heat is evenly distributed and it will keep your lasagna hot a little longer. In other words: neither positive nor negative, just something to know. As it turns out, I've only used the largest slab so far. While I'm excited about the options - some of them are set to the right size for some items - it just worked that way. The stackability also benefits me as my existing bakeware collection is always reluctant to tip over. You look really good! Don't worry about an oven-to-table presentation. It would look great on a Thanksgiving table, especially with an eye-catching color combination. However, they are not particularly easy to clean. I put the large ceramic plate in the dishwasher without hesitation, but I had to wash my hands every time. In other words: I like it. I don't like her, but I like her. This is good value for money. If asked to buy a wedding gift, I would most likely take it as a practical gift.
