This tool had some bugs that affected its accuracy. The plastic end pieces had some molding issues that interfered with or overlapped the metal leveling surface. They were relatively easy to shave, however the leveling surface also had some minor machining imperfections that also affect accuracy. It's generally accurate enough for my purposes, but I wouldn't use it for cabinets, countertops, or long shelves.
