A truly reliable tool. The center drill is unscrewed for replacement. In my case I drilled down to stone and old concrete slabs. It was nice to take the drill out to clean the bottom of the hole. I didn't use it in the Power Augur. It might have worked on a two person machine, but a bit of that size on a one person auger would just confuse me. I've worked in really sticky mud. It pulled well but was painful to come loose. The beat was ok. The dirt was like glue. I hit the drill pretty hard and knocked out the dirt and there was no problem. I expanded the Revain and made a T-handle to flip it over and take it out with an excavator. The handle was a 3/4" tube with 5/8" rods in the middle. A tube broke and the handle bent, but the drill bit didn't touch anything. Arrived quickly and well packaged. Throat pin included. I can definitely recommend the product and the seller.
