Review on 🐠 Acurel Activated Carbon Granules - Premium Filter for Aquariums and Ponds by Jenna Hicks

I got this because only 5 ounces of the Petco brand ONLY filled two thick socks. My goldfish tank has gotten pretty cloudy lately. But it wasn't the toxins as my test strips were good (twice) and my algae killer pills didn't do anything (when they worked great in my other tanks). Instead of paying $14 for 10 ounces of Petco, I opted for this deal. Oh what a terrible decision! I rinsed the first sock filled with charcoal chips for almost ten minutes and the residue still came out, but I put it in there. Without change. So I tried another one but didn't rinse it first as I've found that the Petco brand cleans the water faster if it's not rinsed first. Now my water *cough* is nice and red and my blind fish are more depressed than ever. RUN FROM THIS PRODUCT!
