Not intended for anything other than super soft food

I used to have a Cuisinart slicer and a Pampered Chef slicer. both will cut anything - olives, fruit, meat, etc. This thing has thick wires, so it will destroy anything small or hard. Strawberries, for example, cannot be cut cleanly. My olives were also destroyed trying to cut them. look elsewhere
