I'm surprised by all the rave reviews. Based on them I bought several of these to make a scarf. It's terrible. It's not comfortable to hold, and it's so stiff, like crocheting out of some very old, dusty burlap, and it tears all the time. Maybe I just have a bad batch, but calling this thing soft is someone's idiotic joke. My thumb might fall off before I'm done with this scarf. I will complete it in hopes that I can process it and make it soft enough for someone to like. I will say that the colors are really beautiful and even if you feel bad they will look very beautiful. Bernat is one of my favorite brands, particularly the duvet and baby blanket lines, but I'm desperate to consider anything else in this material.
