Bought these to knit a baby blanket. I was expecting the colors pictured but the three skeins I originally received were very orange. LOTS of orange and brown, no blue or green. But I used it anyway. While knitting, I got big brown spots and the overall look became autumnal. I ordered a few more skeins and some were closer to what was shown but to be honest the colors are everywhere from skein to skein. Perhaps one or two resembled the pattern shown. I'm surprised by all the rave reviews. Based on them I bought several of these to make a scarf. It's terrible. It's not comfortable to hold, and it's so stiff, like crocheting out of some very old, dusty burlap, and it tears all the time. Maybe I just have a bad batch, but calling this thing soft is someone's idiotic joke. My thumb might fall off before I'm done with this scarf.
