Review on XS Scuba 8 00 Steel Cylinder by Curtis Nice

This cover is so-so. Does not sit straight after being placed in the trunk. The tank protrudes slightly from the flat, semi-open floor of the trunk, causing the tank to be in the Standstill wobbles a bit It may move slightly when lowering the bottle but will not fall off The correct XS Scuba part number for the steel Faber HP 117 (FX117) is TBR8F (Worthington 8" bottles have a different part number) , although this is a round boot and not a HEX construction.I couldn't find it online but any XS Scuba dealer can order it for you.My dive shop had one in stock.I've added photos to show the difference. The round fit of the boot is great and stable.
