I quilt a lot. I've been looking for something that marks dark fabrics for a very long time. I love drawing quilt patterns onto quilted bodices. I tried white "pencils", they didn't fit me that well. When I finish my quilts, the chalk doesn't hold very well either. This pen has received several good reviews, all outweighing the "bad". I'm sold! I would recommend anyone considering this pen to read these reviews as they have been helpful. The biggest help was knowing ahead of time that after "drawing" your line, you have to wait a few seconds for them to "appear". And they will appear. You don't have to "remember" all the time because that will definitely use up the "ink" faster. Just give it a second and you should get a good line. When I received my first pen I tried it on a piece of dark material with good results and immediately ordered a second one. The best thing for me, besides how great it works, is that it irons.
