This pen is good for marking dark fabric. It will appear as soon as you paint it. It takes a second or two to appear, but then it shows up clearly. I quilt a lot. I've been looking for something that marks dark fabrics for a very long time. I love drawing quilt patterns onto quilted bodices. I tried white "pencils", they didn't fit me that well.
