Doesn't fit in appliance door

Like most bad reviews I couldn't fit this in my door. The crossbar is off-center or will not fit in a standard round hole. My contractor would have had to cut into the bolt area to install the lock. This will void the warranty on the door and will also make it impossible to replace the locks in the future. What company makes a latch that won't fit in a standard door!? Nice but pointless
