Review on Professional Grade Apron Kitchen Grill by Trent Kraft

Comfy Apron (which is *machine washable*)

Cooking Apron Professional Grade 12 OZ: $9.95 at time of review BBQ season is back and I was looking for a good heavy duty apron to cover my clothes while cooking to protect. . I liked the idea of a black linen apron so this one from i-Heir seemed like a good choice. Read on to find out why it suits me. The packaging for this apron is just a clear plastic bag. It is not necessary for an apron to have particularly good/durable packaging. However, this is a gift item so keep that in mind. The quality of the fabric is a pretty decent canvas weight. It's more than thick enough to protect against oil splatters (usually when grilling) or other mishaps. Food stains that usually occur during cooking. It's not heavy enough to be uncomfortable. I think it's a good balance between weight and performance. The listing says it is a washable apron, while the care card provided clearly advises against its use (the listing has since been updated to say the card is incorrect). It's worth noting that the care card also states that the apron has a wax coating. This is the reason why you cannot machine wash. There is clearly no wax coating on this apron. Wax coatings are more suitable for shop aprons (e.g. wood or car repair shops). The card (as i-Heir points out) was clearly inserted by mistake. The shoulder/back straps are crossed at the back with a small leather patch. If you have adjustable straps to suit your height/waist, putting the apron on should be fairly easy. I found it fit well and is true to my size. One thing about this apron that I don't care about (and it's pretty minor) is that I don't really enjoy wearing obvious logos. There is a small leather strap on the chest which, judging by the photos of this apron, is a headphone cord holder. The problem is that the name i-Heir is on it. I didn't care so I pulled out the rivets and took it off. The last thing I will mention is the price. While Revain may have slightly better quality aprons I don't think you'll find them at this price point. $10 is a great deal on a linen apron. Lots of pockets. Comfortable after adjustment. *Bad side*: Logo leather strap on the front. * Verdict: * All in all, this is a damn good $10 deal. The black canvas protects my clothes while cooking and the multiple pockets hold all my utensils. Five out of five stars for a good apron at a great price. I would order this again.
