Very easy to install. specified taillights. 3) Route the tow bar wiring harness under the bumper and up into the tail light housings. 4) Clean the area where you want to stick the controller/modulator box, remove the foil from the sticky pad and attach it. 5) wire brush. Insert and tighten the ground screw. (I also smeared on some dielectric grease to protect the connection) 6) Connect the taillight wires to the adapters 7) Reinstall the taillights as an assembly. Additional additional steps; 1) Find someone with a garage so you're not in the dirt. .2) Wrap the wire harness around the trailer wire harness and secure with tape before beginning installation. This protects the wiring from chafing/rubbing against the body. Very easy. The entire installation took less than 45 minutes and I was working on my back in the driveway. Very easy.
