Review on ODIER Bike Handlebar Mitts - Winter Thermal Pogies Mittens for Cyclists to Keep Hands Warm (1 Pair) by James Hardin

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Overall good product

I mounted them on my fat bike that I use for winter trips to Montana. Today was the first day I put them on, it was 15F outside. I opted for mid-weight gloves, which usually left my hands pretty cold when I got to work. My hands were too warm when I came to work today. Even with warm gloves, the fingertips get a bit cold, but not today. I will test them in winter but they clearly made a big difference in the warmth and comfort of my hands. Installation was easy and only took about 5 minutes for both gloves. The zipper can be opened completely and allows you to put on mittens on the grill. Just use the included velcro straps to seal the holes left by your cables (it's better than expected) and you're good to go. Let's talk fit. As other reviewers have pointed out, they don't work with full size brake levers, there just isn't enough room for them. However, I have short brake levers and had no problems. However, the mittens are a bit "flat" rather than a bit more rounded which means my switch rubs a bit, it wasn't enough to keep it from coming back when I press it to switch but that is if the mitten were a little bulkier. that would be 100% perfect.
