Not suitable if you want to lower the seat tube mount as much as possible. The angle is such that the seat tube collar gets in the way. In order to make the Varia visible under the saddlebag, it is very important to position it as low as possible. I wanted to put my Varia on a second bike without moving the mount. I chose this one as it is more secure than the rubber band mount that comes with the Varia. Unfortunately I just bought one of the rubber bands to wrap around part of the frame just below the seat tube collar. It would have been nice if Garmin had redesigned it by moving the attachment piece slightly away from the clamp so it would clear the seat tube collar. Big mistake on your part.
