Review on Vitamin D3 Free Calcium Supplement for Reptiles by Fluker's by Amy Smith
Not without phosphorus!
I bought this calcium supplement expecting it to be free of vitamin D3 and phosphorus as shown in the picture but found another on receipt Label as shown in the photo I took. I asked customer service if it contained phosphorus and was told that calcium without d3 contains phosphorus and calcium with d3 contains no phosphorus. One, then the other, but not both. Phosphorus is not needed by my chameleon and does more harm than good. Just buy from RepCal or ZooMed. In case you want to know: Calcium is extracted from limestone powder.
