I'll admit right away that I'm not a fan of dominoes. I play Blue Moon at most once, but like a deck of cards, chess, and a Uno deck, I think you should have dominoes scattered around the house just in case. These dominoes are a type of "spinner", meaning they have a small brass protrusion in the middle. They are used in several variants of domino rules. I never use these rules to be honest, but I think it's nice to have the option. Now I can try them. Otherwise they can be used quite normally, just make sure to mix on a mat or similar as the burrs can scratch the wooden table. The set comes in a beautiful wooden box that looks fantastic. Looks great on the shelf and makes a great gift. The box is made of lightweight wood that has been stained to look like dark cherry or mahogany (although it's not). However, there's no clasp to keep it closed, so you'll have to use rubber bands or something like that when you travel. For me it docks with a star. What good is a good suitcase if it's not really portable? Otherwise it's a nice little set for a good price, and it's good to be able to play by the rules of a weirdo. For me it fills the gap in the house and is perfect when we have guests. This will also be a good gift.
