This is a great starter kit to learn cross stitch. As an adult learning this, I really felt ridiculous for being an adult when all the reviews (and kit directions) were aimed at/about kids. But it's really difficult, but it turned out well. It has all the materials you need (including a needle) which is great. I didn't add an outline in the end, but I did put a smiley face on the pizza, which was a lot trickier. Mainly the eyes. I ruined an eye probably 40 times but in the end I made it. The instructions weren't very helpful, but there are great videos on YouTube explaining how to do cross stitches, so it didn't really bother me.
