Just wing it! in Games & Accessories

Ever wondered what you would do with a weird hypnotic ice cream truck luring adults out of their homes? or how to escape an angry horde of leaping jellyfish craving marshmallows? No? I also. Until I Wing it! You see, the whole purpose of the game is to find the most plausible (or at least the most humorous/inventive) solution to these crazy situations. But don't worry, you don't have to do it alone, at least you have the tools to help you. 3 completely random items. Truth? And how do you think you'll survive with just a set of golf clubs, a winged horse and some lipstick? Continue with the story because these polar bears won't walk on their own until they've eaten your sandwich and possibly you. (Okay, maybe the winged horse is a bit weaker). That's the whole game. In fact, it's that simple. One player is the referee and reads the situation to the other players. They then look at 5 items and choose 3 to use in their incredibly bizarre story, which immediately comes to mind. The judge then decides whose story was the "best" and they get a situation card. The decision then passes to someone else. Collect 3 situation cards and you win. But like many party games, the aim of the game is not necessarily to win. I can't tell you who won the games we played. What I can do is tell you how I used a love potion, a Jack out of the box, and a Polaroid camera to trick some hawks that were trying to eat me. chihuahua (This potion was catapulted into the sky when Jack pushed it out of the box and smashed the leader bird, who then quickly fled the scene, pursued by his smitten friends. Don't believe me, I have a picture of everything.) Of course, it isn't the longest or most confusing explanation, but I still won this card. Speaking of cards, there are over 400 cards in the game (about 80 or so are situations, the rest are wacky items). So you should have plenty of chances to play and replay the game. Especially since there will inevitably be moments when the items you have in hand are not really suitable for the situation. But don't worry, the next round should be better. Like any good party game, this one has blank cards, so you can even create your own situations/items as you see fit. After all, you don't want your imagination to wither - keep inventing. I should also mention that the work shown here is not the final image, just preview quality. The real cards shown on Kickstarter are much higher quality but still have that fun penguin. I've played many similar party games and this one does one thing that I particularly like. He adapts to his audience. In fact, there's nothing in the cards that makes them primarily adult-only. After all, the ages on the box are 12 to 112, so it's perfectly safe for a family game night. But nothing prevents you from walking the dark path either. As long as it works for your group, do it. I think Wing It is more like snake oil than apples for apples or cards against humanity. You don't just provide the card that you think complements the card the smartest (or baddest). In fact, you invent a crazy story that requires a lot more imagination and is a lot more fun. Joy lies not in victory but in the absurd stories themselves. In fact, you'll be reluctant to finish the game just to use that crazy new item you just pulled from the stack. So do what we did, drop the win conditions and just move on. How else would you know how Elvis and the trained mouse circus use a magic carpet to drive you out of Alcatraz? Wing is a fun little party game where the only limits are your own imagination. The crazier your story, the more fun you will have. Ninja Approved.
