Review on Enhanced Motorcraft DY1164 Throttle Position Sensor by Dmitriy Kingsley

This new TPS works great! The old (round head) of my Mustang GT 06 has some problems when I turn on the cruise control on a cold morning. This will keep the car accelerating until it goes into safe mode and loses power. When I tried to take the old one off, it was a real nightmare! Those two little torque screws just won't come off! I tried to heat it up and still both screws in the hole broke. Eventually I have to drill them out and the blue Loctite still won't come off the threads on the throttle body. I have to drill a bigger hole, rethread and use a bigger screw to install this new TPS! Luckily this new one works great. You may have a bit of a high idle, but this decreases as the engine warms up a bit. The TPS voltage does not need to be adjusted.
