The cutting part of the set looks very well made and I had no problems cutting tongues in maple leaf. I gave 3 stars for the following reasons: a. 1/ The 4" tongue combination actually creates a 3/16" tongue and there is no combination for the 1/4" tongue, b. When reassembled according to the instructions, the bearing touched the cutting edge (I ended up using a large spacer) and c. There are a lot of small parts and if the plastic package had formed the legs along with all the small compartments it would sit flat. Instead, she tends to fall on her side. I suggest considering CMT as another good brand.
