I've had these pots and pans for a few days now and have been using them every day since they arrived. I have noticed discoloration and a white film on it after cooking as others have mentioned in their reviews. Then I bought Bartender's soap and it removed that film instantly! These pans can be used in a variety of ways to make them last longer and keep food from sticking. Tips: *First heat the pan, then add the oil, let it heat, then add the food. This order is necessary so that the food does not stick. But it's better than the chemicals from a nonstick pan that peels off. * Use water instead of oils. Works just as well, but obviously doesn't make the food crispy. Pros: * The pots and pans are of very good quality and will last a long time. * no coatings to ooze in my food * heats up with less power consumption since I don't have to use the highest heat setting. * They are beautiful! Definitely the nicest pans I've ever had. Cons: 1.) No pan lid. This is my most used pan size and style when cooking, so it's very disappointing. 2.) They are a bit heavy. I have weak wrists, so with large pots, which are also usually filled with water, my husband moves for me. Again, my wrists are VERY weak. The small pots that I use more often are fine. I'd rather have a heavy pan that lasts a long time than a cheap one that gets thrown away after a few months. 3.) They scratch the inside of the pan very easily when cooking. Just make sure you use the right utensils and you'll be fine.
