I'm impressed with the non-stick coating and lightness of this pan, but I have to admit I've only used the pan a handful of times. I love this as the food just seems to slide off even when I use very little olive oil. Food cooked in this pan seems to taste better than other nonstick cookware I've used. If you like the look of ceramic coated cast iron cookware but want something a little more non-stick, then this pan is a great alternative, especially considering it's a lot cheaper and a lot lighter. I assumed it would, so it would be great for soups, stews, etc. The only downside is you have to wait for the pan to cool before washing to avoid "warping", but this is a problem. This isn't unique to this manufacturer, as Cuisinart has a website dedicated to solving this problem. Remember that the pot heats up quickly so the use of oven mitts is recommended as the handles get very hot.
