Review on HiLetgo DC DC Module Charger Arduino by Blake Larson
The circuit is different from that shown in the photo. But it works.
The polarity (+/-) is not drawn on the board supplied, nor does it help that the circuit supplied does not exactly match that in the photo. On the other hand, connect it to the inputs (+/-) as shown in the photo and everything will work fine. Feels quite warm but not hot when 5V/1.3A is applied to my phone. I didn't connect it to an oscilloscope to measure ripple, just a simple USB hub with a built in meter.
