Used this kettle mid November 2020 and has been working great for 5 months. It is used at least twice a day and I only use it to boil water for coffee or tea. I also only boil the water I need so the water doesn't stand in the kettle. When the water is poured into the cups/mugs, the lid is removed and the water remaining in the kettle evaporates and the kettle dries. I usually wash my kettle inside and out every 3-4 days (and sooner if needed). The nose and grip are solid. The kettle heats up quickly on the smooth ceramic plate and the handle stays cool. The built in thermometer stays within 1-2 degrees of my Lavatools Javelin Pro Duo kitchen thermometer.
