Review on 🕳️ Eclipse Slim Overflow Box by ESHOPPS by Sierra Moore

This fits pretty well although it came with a small cosmetic change. The glass mill they provided inside was able to machine two holes in my tank (I plan on lifting it later for extra volume). , and there is already another Eshopps bulkhead which I just plugged up) but I was concerned there towards the end of the second hole. It was a very accurate grinder, but it wore out quickly, even with a circulating water dampener. Like others, I had a very slow shutoff leak that required almost all the hand strength I could muster without fear of repairing the aquarium glass, plexi, or rather my hand. This stopped the leak completely. I highly recommend a check valve (ball valve doesn't work) on your main return to get to the sweet spot that will keep the water in the overflow high enough to withstand some serious suction noise. I also suggest a "PVC slip sleeve" for the inside of the spillway bulkhead to reduce the size of the water inlet through the bulkhead, common and cheap parts are available from 1.5" to 1.25 or 1". It's also easy (gentle) to wiggle in and out of the device after overflowing. I myself am currently deliberately playing at a lower flow rate, which is why I got both. 3 stars. A bit pricey and mine was cosmetically damaged. This purchase would normally be rated four stars.
