Tried to reheat a cake last night. In the beginning it was difficult to insert the lock. Once that was done I placed it on the edge of the cake. Later, when I took the cake out of the oven, the protection just fell off. It will become very soft and pliable and may have stretched out a bit. I was hoping to check the crust and put the pie back in the oven. With everything hot and the ring on the floor, I had to give up. It's really too soft and pliable to be useful.
