Review on 🎨 Highly-Pigmented Wax-Based Core Pencils: Arteza Colored Pencils, 48 Vibrant Colors - Ideal for Adult and Teen Artists by Jennifer Wilson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I WANT to love her more than me.

I bought these pens in addition to a smaller set of Prismacolor pens hoping to get a better price. The colors are nice and the crayons don't seem any more brittle than the others, but there's only one thing stopping me from giving them five stars: they just don't color as well as the Prismacolor crayons. They're not that oily, not that light. I'm including a comparison photo, but it doesn't really show the real difference, which is the difference in how they feel when the paint is applied; The oily feel of Prismacolor is difficult to reproduce. I think if the Arteza pencils were the only ones I had access to they would be satisfactory, but there's just no real comparison. I will buy Prismacolor next time.
