Review on ARES 25007-1/2-Inch Drive 6 Point Axle Nut Socket (36MM) - Easy & Efficient Removal of Axle Shaft Nuts by Jason Carranza

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very good high torque tools.

One of the most difficult jobs on a 70's GM car is replacing the Saginaw power steering, as the Pitman lever was torqued to over 175 lb-ft on a prone splined road dirt. /Salt 50 years ago. A hammer is required to remove the Pitman nut and lever. I recently bought an ARES 25004 33mm head and a Pitman 78041 lever puller. After three transfers it shows no signs of wear or stress. In addition, large contrast markings on the heads are very visible. There is also a set of Ares 61000 magnetic trays, the large double magnetic tray is very good for long gear and frame bolts. Very good products.
