These hooks have some disadvantages. First, they are short, both the tip and the handle. You can see the size difference in my photo compared to the one on the left which is the same size as the photo. Middle, just another brand. Second, they aren't pointy, so you don't want them to go into crochet holes. Finally, the rubber band on the handle is loose and runs far away from the hook, as shown in the photo on the right. I didn't try them until it was too late to send them back. The extra large plastic hooks are very short too Keep buying - wish I had one.
