I kept seeing these posts on social media about making sous vide and couldn't resist trying it myself. The price seemed reasonable so I bought it. So far I've only cooked carrots (I wanted something super easy) - OMG! Ooooo good! They've been cooked but are still slightly crispy, a result I've never been able to achieve with steaming! Very satisfied and looking forward to trying more complex recipes. Incidentally, I was concerned at first that I wouldn't have the correct pot as it isn't included, and the inner pot of my instant 3 liter pot seemed like the perfect pot for this sous vide stick. Problem solved!
