Review on πŸ”Œ Walker Products 250-24154 4-Wire O2 Sensor by Victor Garro

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works perfectly! Better fuel economy.

I wanted to buy a Denso product but it was out of stock so I decided on this walker. My 4Runner lost fuel consumption. I used to have 18-21 and now it was about 16. My muffler was dying so I decided to replace both mufflers (I used a Walker 18901 muffler) AND the intake O2 sensor. I'm told that the downstream O2 sensor doesn't affect fuel economy, it just tells the computer if CAT is working. This Walker sensor (250-24154) was a suitable model for the PRE-cat (upstream) O2 sensor. I have a 2000 Toyota 4Runner, non-California, 3.4L, 4x4 manual. I'll definitely find the right one. There is a difference between air-fuel ratio sensors and thermal lift. Toyota began adding air-fuel ratio sensors to the 4Runner CA models in 1998, but did not install them on non-Cali models. Models up to 2001. SO sometimes online guides say you have an air/fuel mixture sensor when in fact you have an O2 sensor. If you don't have Cali. Model year of manufacture or before 2000, then you have O2 sensors. Anyway, the thing works great. Very happy with the results.
