It's impossible. Being imaginative I've tried different approaches and hoped for success, but today I'll throw them away or return them if I keep the box. It's a very, very soft, flexible rubber material. Once you have a raw egg in them (crack them into a coffee cup and then pour them into a rubber mug), try very carefully to lower them into the sizzling simmer without sticking your fingers in the simmering water! I've tried using forks, serrated spoons, etc., then they just tip over and you lose some protein. As the water boils, it knocks over the cups with further protein loss and your egg stays in its water-filled cups! If "boiled" with water IN the cup, just try to take the hot cups out of the hot water without burning yourself! Also, they won't come out of the cups unless you spray the cups (in advance) with cooking oil spray! I had it after many different approaches! DO NOT BUY THESE STUPID ARTICLES!
