Terrible cycle computer battery life

I don't know why they have such positive reviews. They eat batteries like crazy. I ride about once a week and the battery only lasts 3 weeks. Removing the sensors and changing the battery is cumbersome. There's no on/off switch, so they're always "on" and the batteries drain too quickly. It's great when they work, but the battery issue renders them completely useless. Most of the time I drive with an empty battery.
