Not what I expected

I bought one of the small zoo mugs and was very happy with the quality. This large bowl was curved outwards at the bottom and could not lie flat in my aquarium. Rather than return it, I placed a piece of aluminum foil on one of the burners on my glass-topped oven, placed the bowl on the foil, and heated the bottom until it was flat. In fact, it's started to sag inward a bit, but at least it's no longer leaning from side to side.
