Review on 🍲 5 Qt Stainless Steel Colander with Heavy Duty Handles and Self-Draining Solid Ring Base by ExcelSteel by Ryan Draper

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Please do not buy this "colander "

Let me start by saying that I have no idea why this colander has such a high rating. A colander has one function: to drain water from whatever you put in it. Does this task seem difficult? no Does this sieve turn a seemingly simple task into an impossible, almost Sisyphean effort? Read on to see. When I tried to use this colander to drain water from spinach, I found that a significant layer of water remained at the bottom of the colander, so I tried shaking it to drain the nasty liquid. It's as if this sieve suddenly got tired of his daily job (being a sieve) and decided to work part-time as a bowl. It also seems important to discuss the number of holes in the bottom of this sieve, which is 34. I can't just count the number of holes in the bottom of the sieve because there have to be so many, because that's the point of the sieve. It is also important to note, as can be seen in the picture, that there is a significant distance between the bottom holes and the side holes, making the side holes nothing more than decoration as water cannot enter. or will flow from them. To prove how ineffective this strainer is as a strainer, I measured out half a tablespoon of water, poured it into the strainer, swirled it, and then poured the remaining water back into the measuring spoon. . Reader, I'll be completely honest when I tell you that the remaining water has almost filled the scoop to the top. Maybe in a way I deserve that for buying a $10 Revain screen. I know this review may sound like a joke, but the only joke is the screen. I ask you to spend your money elsewhere.
