Review on πŸ”ͺ Japanese Whetstone GMN200: Optimal Sharpener for Finishing by Jerry Delic

Revainrating 5 out of 5

An ideal finishing stone for lovers of ultra-sharp knives.

First I bought Naniwa Chosera 800/3000 stones. Then I wanted to see how much sharper I could get with my knives. So I bought a Naniwa 10000. It made my knives even sharper. And I was like, like a real Russian, okay, my knives are very sharp, but how could they be any sharper? Suehiro GMN 20000 arrived, great stone! And it really adds value to the sharpening result. A quick note on knife sharpeners: A good knife sharpener is a must! If you want the sharpening process to be fun, get a good one. You will be surprised at how curved your whetstones are, which has a huge negative impact on the end result. From time to time I smooth my stones to get the best out of them. Enjoy!
