Not worth the money

Save your coins & invest in a different product for your industrial and scientific needs. The finish is mediocre but the price is not. At this price, expectations were high but sadly not met.

Pros
  • Provides a razor-sharp edge on knives and tools.
Cons
  • Requires some skill and practice to achieve optimal results.

An ideal finishing stone for lovers of ultra-sharp knives.

First I bought Naniwa Chosera 800/3000 stones. Then I wanted to see how much sharper I could get with my knives. So I bought a Naniwa 10000. It made my knives even sharper. And I was like, like a real Russian, okay, my knives are very sharp, but how could they be any sharper? Suehiro GMN 20000 arrived, great stone! And it really adds value to the sharpening result. A quick note on knife sharpeners: A good knife sharpener is a must! If you want the sharpening process to be fun, get a good one…

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

Same or better, of course easier/more stable than JNAT

I bought this from another source but I'm bored so decided to review it here as well. I use this to finish my razors. Let's just say I have some really good JNATS, Ozuku, Shobudani etc and stopped using them after trying this stone. I have been honing for 3 years now and have done hundreds of honings. This gem put an end to my point dependency :). I do a simple progression of 1,000, 3,000, 8,000, 12,000, then 20,000 and consistently get the same or better than buttery smooth edges I've ever…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous
