I used to ride breeches, Pirelli, Continental, and Kislaved tires before switching to Kormorans. Worse than Toyota, or even on a par with it, is Pirelli Ice Zero. The noise they produce, or rather the rumble, is so loud that it lays ears after traveling at 80 km/h. The logical conclusion is that it is more cost-effective to use the continental, less expensive sour vet nord frost, but in terms of overall economy, this is a cormoran, with its incredibly quiet tires and superior traction. There were also the horrible, yet Japanese, Toyo Open Country i/t tires in addition to these. The spikes' seat and wear resistance are outstanding, however the poor braking on ice and noise negate these minor advantages. Good tires, like they say, however I won't use them again for myself.
