This is actually a very good product if used properly. Here are some tips to save time. There is a stopper at the top of the canister. Make sure the plug is closed before use. Simply press the switch on the vacuum cleaner, start pumping and dispose of the oil "simply" and without any problems in a practical container. User errors aside, the product is fantastic, well designed and capable of both fetching and downloading content. worth the twenty bucks you would pay for a low end Mittyvacs. The fact that the pump components are outside the canister is another benefit (extra life).
