Review on Red Aluminum Valve Spring Compressor Tool for Subaru WRX STi, Forester, Legacy, Outback, Baja - Easy Removal and Installation by John Patterson

I will be honest with this review. I would like to return this product, but unfortunately the reconfiguration date has passed. The reason I'm giving it a start is that with continued use the aluminum flakes chip off very badly and easily and thus the metal shavings get into your engine. I found I was constantly blowing on it and had to unscrew it all the way to keep the shwing from getting into my head. I would never use this again but I say this even though the product is very poor it only does its job because it has to but will I be using it as a tool in my workshop all the time? No, not only because it "sheds aluminum very easily," as they say, if you're looking for something cheap to make it I wouldn't buy this one, but be careful with the aluminum shavings.
