This is exactly what you need if you just want a magnetic mount for your iPhone 12. I have a Pro Max and I always use a zip cable for Carplay so I didn't want a wireless charging mount as it would probably destroy my battery being plugged into two things at the same time. This mount allows you to mount your phone with no accessories other than your iPhone with a magsafe compatible case (which has a good magnet to attach it to)... I attached the mount to the dash and used it straight away and had NO issues with my phone falling down or the bracket will come loose. they tell you that you're supposed to leave it there for 12 hours before using it, but if you're like me you won't have the patience. I tried it and it worked! That means if your mount won't stick to the dash, the mount comes with two extra pieces of 3M adhesive, which is great. Don't believe any of the negative comments, this mount is very well made and durable and will definitely make your life better.
