Yes! I finally found one that works! This is the 5th Rj45 to USB-C adapter I've bought when I was trying to connect to wired internet on my Galaxy S8 and none of the others worked! They worked on my laptop, but my laptop has its own ethernet port, so they were useless to me. Seriously, I'm so excited it actually worked! (and yes, I'm happy about such things, I'm so weird😅). Now that I've found it I'll be buying a few more for other phones/devices used around the house (to eliminate the need for Wi-Fi ie EMF exposure aka SARS). Oh, and it looks well made. Definitely doesn't look like the super cheap and poorly built plastic that some cables and mobile accessories are notorious for. I also appreciate that it came with a USB DC power cable so it doesn't depend on the phone's battery for power, and it's a great length too! (I'm guessing it's about 4 feet). I haven't tested the Up/DL speed yet, so I can't fully or definitively attest to this, but I will say that pages load much faster and smoother than before, so this is an improvement for me so far. Curious if this will work on my kids' Fire HD 8 with Google Play installed 🤔 I'll try to update later with a verdict on whether or not it does. Highly recommended for anyone looking to get a wired connection on a Samsung phone!
