Incorrect installation instructions
The instructions say "the extended position is the closed position" which is wrong. The contracted position is the closed position. Unfortunately I didn't check it after install and drained all the oil because I followed the OEM install instructions. Other than that, this is a great product. The oil change takes ten minutes.
