Inaccurate Description and Count

This is highly inaccurate. It was the first of two I bought. I bought it because that died on my generator and right in the description it says it was made for generators. Well it isn't, as I found out the hard way. Most generator hour meters run after the inverter, meaning they run on AC, not DC. Obviously fried. Instead of discussing the problem with the seller, I contacted him directly and received clear installation instructions, which then cleared up my error. I ordered a second one from the same seller and after fitting the coil directly onto the station wagon i.e. DC instead of AC I noticed that it was very slow. I let it run for over 10 minutes but the display only showed 2 minutes. I then tested it directly by hooking it up to a 12 volt battery and it confirmed my suspicion that it takes more than 5 minutes to count a minute. This creates discrepancies for hours, and since most of you are installing, this would be an accurate track of uptime for maintenance purposes.
